Featuring SandaWaruna Art of Dance
SandaWaruna Art of Dance brings Sri Lankan dance to life on the Norton Simon Museum’s main stage, guiding you through the form’s origins, movement vocabulary, training, and performance practices. The program highlights Kandyan traditions that trace back to the sixth century BCE, tying into the museum’s exhibition *The Art of Kandy: Sri Lanka’s Last Kingdom*. This performance is part of your regular Museum admission.
