Featuring Leela - An Indian Community Theatre
Leela - An Indian Community Theatre brings Deepak Kumar’s award-winning play to Texas for the first time, following Ananya as she fights to keep her family’s Indian restaurant alive in a fading Asian strip mall while a Thai-American entrepreneur pushes her to sell out. This warm, funny drama—performed in English—digs into family ties, food, and what it means to belong, with a story that’s as much about heritage as it is about the choices we make. A thoughtful pick for anyone 10 and up.
