Featuring Fernando Méndez
The Frida Cinema presents Fernando Méndez’s 1959 Mexican horror film *Misterios de Ultratumba*, part of the 4 Clásicos De Terror series. The story follows Doctor Mazali, who makes a pact with a dying colleague to uncover the secrets of the afterlife—only for the spirit to exert a sinister pull, summoning his daughter to an asylum where terrifying events unfold. Starring Rafael Bertrand and Mapita Cortés, this is a moody, gothic horror standout worth catching on the big screen.
