Catch a 35mm double bill of two 1981 slasher staples at the New Beverly Cinema: *The Burning*, with Brian Backer, Jason Alexander, Fisher Stevens, and Holly Hunter, follows a vengeful ex-caretaker terrorizing a summer camp, while *Madman*, starring Gaylen Ross of *Dawn of the Dead*, pits teen campers against an axe-wielding killer. It’s a gritty, back-to-back dive into early ’80s horror mayhem.
