Douglas College nursing students are hosting a hands-on, parent-focused workshop to help you figure out the right move when your child is sick—whether that’s calling 811, checking in with your doctor, heading to urgent care, or going to the ER. You’ll get clear guidance on warning signs, when 911 is the call, and what to expect at the hospital with a young one, so you can make those decisions with more ease. There’s also a relaxed 30-minute settle-in window at the start for parents and kids to get comfortable.
