See how the Quabbin Reservoir looked when it was built in the 1930s compared to its current state, with historical photos from the Digital Commonwealth and Massachusetts State Archives paired alongside contemporary shots by Belchertown nature photographer Ed Comeau. This traveling exhibit, recently on view at the Massachusetts State House, is now visiting libraries in the communities that rely on Quabbin water to highlight the region’s history and the effects of climate change on the supply. It’s presented by the Friends of Quabbin with support from the Mass Cultural Council.
