Project VIDA will be on-site at the Little Village Library to offer no-cost STI testing, harm reduction supplies, and resources for LGBTQIA+ and HIV+ individuals before a screening of Carol. This 118-minute, Rated R film follows a female department-store employee in 1950s New York who falls for a woman trapped in a loveless marriage, whose husband threatens to take their child if the relationship continues.
