Join the Islamic Arts Society at the Clear Lake City-County Freeman Branch Library as local artist and Society member Shaheen Rahman demonstrates Ebru, the ancient Turkish technique of paper marbling. This session is part of the group’s lead-up to its 13th Annual Islamic Arts Festival, which welcomes visitors of all backgrounds to explore the diverse art forms and traditions of the Muslim world. Come see how this flowing, water-based craft brings cultures together through hands-on artistry.
