Featuring Avis Berman
Art historian Avis Berman, author of *Becoming Roy Lichtenstein: The Path to Pop*, traces the artist’s development from his Ohio State University education and Cleveland years to his rise as a defining Pop figure of the 1960s. She unpacks how his Midwest roots shaped his signature style and his shift from relative anonymity to art-world prominence. The talk is free with registration and co-sponsored by The Ohio State University’s Office of Academic Affairs.
