Endeavour Theatre reimagines *Hamlet* in Denmark, Wisconsin, 1998, where a church community mourns its pastor, celebrates his brother’s marriage to his widow, and welcomes his son home to rejoin the choir. This retelling centers doubt and identity, asking who faith truly serves when it’s used as a weapon—and what queer children owe their parents versus themselves.
