The Bucktown-Wicker Park Library hosts a screening of the 1940 holiday classic The Shop Around the Corner, where two coworkers secretly correspond as pen pals while bickering at their Budapest gift shop. This timeless romance, which inspired later adaptations like "In the Good Old Summertime" and "You've Got Mail," offers a heartwarming story perfect for the season. Community Cinema brings this festive film to a branch near you as part of their ongoing series.
