Houston Repertoire Ballet brings its 2026 staging of *The Nutcracker* to the CFISD Visual and Performing Arts Center, with a cast of skilled young local dancers joined by professional ballet artists and a live orchestra. The classic tale follows Clara as her Nutcracker springs to life, sparking a showdown with the Mouse King and a voyage through the Land of Snow and the Land of Sweets, all set to Tchaikovsky’s beloved score. Conductor Tarana Taylor leads the Houston Repertoire Ballet Orchestra in this full-scale production.
