Donna Russell and David Ranney present a staged reading of their adaptation, directed by Peter Garino, featuring a trunk of letters from the 1920s that tell the story of a passionate long-distance affair. This production by The Shakespeare Project of Chicago explores how love defied bigotry and political persecution through poetry, music, and left-wing ideals. The event takes place at the Skokie Campus, 7701 Lincoln Avenue, Skokie, IL.
