Featuring Grupo Huitzilopochtli
Grupo Huitzilopochtli, led by Capitan Raul Chavez—who came to Colorado from Mazatlan, Mexico in 1969—brings traditional Aztec dances to the stage as part of the Passport to Culture series. The group, rooted in a mission of inclusivity, uses the arts to encourage empathy, care for community, and open-mindedness. This family-friendly performance offers a vivid window into Indigenous heritage and cultural expression.
