Featuring Grupo Huitzilopochtli
Capitan Raul Chavez's Grupo Huitzilopochtli brings traditional Aztec dances to Lone Tree Arts Center, offering hour-long shows designed to welcome children and adults on the autism spectrum alongside other community members. Founded by a 1969 immigrant from Mazatlan, this group uses the arts to foster compassion and tolerance while providing free weekly classes for youth and elders. The performance creates a supportive environment that embraces diversity through cultural expression.
