Featuring Freddy Rodriguez, Jr.
Genres: jazz/blues, pop
Freddy Rodriguez, Jr. brings his mix of straight-ahead jazz, Latin, and pop to 1080 14th Street, carrying on the legacy of Denver’s legendary El Chapultepec club. He’ll perform jazz standards and Latin classics, plus songs from his father Freddy Rodriguez, Sr.’s songbook—a nod to the elder’s 40-plus years at that iconic spot and his work with countless jazz recording artists. Fresh off a City Park Jazz Festival set, this lunchtime show is a solid pick for fans of the city’s jazz roots.
