Featuring Chelsea Wang, Nathan Meltzer, Eric Gratz, Brian Hong, Alexander Hersh, Katherine Jimoh, Andreas Glaeser
Genres: classical
Violinist Chelsea Wang, Nathan Meltzer, Eric Gratz, Brian Hong, cellist Alexander Hersh, and pianist Katherine Jimoh perform works by Ravel, Stravinsky, and Janáček, with a lecture from Andreas Glaeser, in a program shaped by the aftermath of World War I and the Russian Revolution. The concert pairs these early-20th-century compositions with Glaeser’s context on the era’s political upheaval, offering a thoughtful look at how music responded to a world in flux.
